Hermetikken is our main bar and restaurant, located on the first floor with panoramic views towards the ocean and the rest of Lofoten.

Hermetikken is perfect for grabbing a coffee or a beer, people-watching, and connecting with other guests and locals. Originally a shrimp peeling and canning facility, it’s now a lively social space for both locals and visitors to enjoy brunch and dinner prepared by our kitchen in addition to live music, DJs, art, festivals and everything in between.

Crispy cod
Pan seared in a browned butter sauce, topped with dill and crispy capers. Served with oven-roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables and chive oil. Allergens: wheat, fish
Slowly roasted lamb
Tender lamb, slowly roasted in rosemary broth. Served with oven-roasted potatoes, seasonal vegetables and leek oil.
Grilled cauliflower
Grilled cauliflower on a fresh peas and basil hummus. Comes with pickles, falafel, carrots, bread, crunchy buckwheat and crunchy capers.
Fish soup
Creamy coconut-lime fish soup with cod, chili, turmeric and leek. Allergens: fish
