Our pizzeria is temporarily closed, but the restaurant is open for dinner Wednesday to Sunday 17.00–21.00. Pizza will be available again from 1st of May 2026.

Handmade Neapolitan pizzas crafted with fresh, local ingredients and baked in our wood-fired oven, set outside Trevarefabrikken with stunning views of the Lofoten mountains and the Arctic Ocean.

Steinbruddet Pizza is a culinary concept which combines gazing at the Arctic Ocean and alpine mountains of Lofoten, with enjoying a Neapolitan style pizza baked in our own firewood oven – which has been built by using recycled bricks from the factory’s original chimney. Our pizzas are always freshly handmade from start to finish.

Our Italian dough recipe is over a 100 years old and has been passed through 3 generations. It is the cold and slow fermentation process that gives our pizzas their unique taste and beautiful look: crunchy crust, while still soft and slightly doughy on the inside. You’re welcome to take a peek into our pizza house and follow the whole handcraft process while you wait for your order.

Living on an island in the middle of the Arctic does not make it easy to get fresh and local products from the region, but we put a big effort into trying to source all our ingredients as regionally and sustainably as possible.

Due to this we have developed a minimalistic menu that includes a combination of ingredients and products from local farms and around the globe, in order to serve some of the all times classic pizza toppings, while at the same time trying to develop new Lofoten-classics. That said, we offer something for everyone, no matter if you are a meat lover, vegetarian, vegan or gluten free.

Once the fire is lit in the oven, we aim to make the most out of this natural resource. There’s certainly something special about cooking just with pure wood and fire – and that’s why many of the ingredients on top of your pizza have been firstly slowly roasted in our brick oven, to give that extra smoked flavour.
