Sleep in our comfy rooms and work at Trevarefabrikken, close to scenic Norwegian nature and be a part of a creative environment while taking part in outdoor activities with your base in Henningsvær – a mecca for culture and outdoor activities.
Join in on our sauna club, go for a hike, head to Unstad and surf, rent a kayak and explore the ocean surrounding Henningsvær or just fuel your batteries in a calm and inspiring environment. Let us know if you need help to book activities, hiking tips etc.

Our rooms
Carpenters Room
Stay in one of our six new double rooms in the old carpentry workshop on the second floor with handmade wooden interiors, private bathroom and a king size bed.
The Paintroom
The old paintroom has two king size beds – one of them in the old elevator shaft – a kitchenette, private bathroom and a hangout corner. It can accommodate up to 4 people.
The Loft
The loft has smashing views of local mountain Festvågtinden, a kitchenette, private bathroom and one king size bed plus two single beds in the attic. It can accommodate up to 4 people.
The Big Loft
The factory’s biggest loft apartment comes with two king size beds, a kitchenette, private bathroom and a hangout corner plus two single beds in the attic. It can accommodate up to 6 people.
Share an apartment
Stay in one of our factory apartments with space for up to 4-6 people. Perfect for a group of friends or small company traveling together. The apartments also include a kitchenette and a lounge area.
Important: The Big Loft, The Paintroom and Carpenter Library has to be booked by a minimum of 3 persons.

Sharing a Carpenter Double room
Ideal for a couple of friends or two coworkers traveling together. Handmade wooden interiors, sleek design and a large bathroom with a waterfall shower.

Single traveler
Traveling alone? Stay by yourself in one of our Carpenter Double rooms and enjoy the king size bed all to yourself and meet new friends.

Bigger groups or company trips?
Wanting to book the whole factory for yourself and your company? We can arrange both skiing trips, dinner events, parties and weekend trips custom to your needs. Send us an email at info@trevarefabrikken.local and we will get back to you shortly.
Factory program
Trevarefabrikken has a vast and diverse cultural program throughout the year with talks, quizzes, movie nights, djs and concerts. Attendance for the culture program is included in your stay with us to ensure you get the full factory experience while staying with us.
Is transport included?
Transport is not included in the price. We urge our guests to either fly to Evenes, Svolvær og Leknes and get a rental car from there. Evenes has daily direct flights from Oslo and is usually the cheapest. Although the drive to Henningsvær is a little longer – estimated 2,5-3 hours – the views along the road are scenic and it makes for a good appetizer towards your weekend in the north. Both Leknes and Svolvær airport are approximately a 1 hour drive from Henningsvær.
Is food and beverage included?
Breakfast, lunch and dinner is included everyday. Mondays to Wednesdays will be a social dinner where we all eat a hearty and simple meal together around the table to get to know each other. On Thursdays, our chef Daniel hosts Torsketorsdag in Hermetikken and on Friday and Saturday everybody is allowed to go wild on our regular menu. You are of course welcome to try some of the other restaurants in Henningsvær as well if you want to.
You can also enjoy free filter coffee and light snacks in Trandamperiet on the second floor all day during your stay. Apart from this, our café is open everyday and serves freshly made sandwiches, salads, cakes, boulangerie and maybe Lofotens best espresso from morning until afternoon.
In Hermetikken, our restaurant is open from Thursday to Sunday, serving you our famous Trevareburger, local fish and other goodness with locally sourced ingredients. OBS! Every weekend we also serve our delicious brunch.

Activities

Morning routine
Breakfast is served every day from 07:00 – 10:00 in Hermetikken on the 1st floor.
Our ocean view sauna is also open from 07:00 – 10:00, so you can have a dip in the ocean before starting your day.
Workday
Sit in Trandamperiet on the second floor with stunning views of the Vestfjord and Lofotveggen for a quieter workday or enjoy the more social and vibrant open space in Hermetikken on the 1st floor, with easy access to our café and meet new people and potential business partners throughout your day.
Need to have a private phone call or meeting? Book the library room on the second floor. Several colleagues traveling together and need to get a workshop done? Book the Trandamperiet on the 3rd floor.
Outside the working hours
After work there are many possibilities to explore what Henningsvær and its surroundings have to offer.

Sauna
Our Ocean sauna sits right on a cliff above the Ocean. Join in every morning from 07am – 10am or book a private session (not included in the price) in the afternoon.
