The cod (skrei in Norwegian) arrives in Lofoten, and so does Skreifest!
The celebration of the fishing season is happening at Trevarefabrikken for the third time, when we are back for the one-day-festival Skreifest in 2022. To maximize the celebration the festival happens to be during the same weekend as the World Championship in Cod Fishing (VM i Skreifiske). Concerts, clubs, food and drinks, and hopefully no restrictions! Welcome to a weekend for the cod, the music, the people and Henningsvær!

Svømmebasseng:
The past few years Svømmebasseng has gone from being a group of friends playing together in the neighborhood, to filling concert venues all over Norway. They’ve done this with a soundscape characterized by warm synths, catchy melodies and rhythms that’s always in motion. The music is made with pop flair and at the same time a non-compromising artistic integrity.
The first teaser from their new material came during the fall of 2021. They’ve spent the covid period building their own studio where they’re now recording their third album. The single “Heldigvis/Tilfeldigvis” and other new tracks has already been played live in front of packed venues in Oslo, Bergen and Trondheim. This spring they’re releasing more music and will be playing live all over Norway.
Svømmebasseng is Lars Aksel Sandbakken, Ine Johnsen, Philip Popescu Lindberg, Jens Heli, Hans Heli and Jørgen Tholens.
Eira Norang Ekre:
Eira Norang Ekre is a young musician from Oslo, now living in Lofoten. Since high school she has played with different jazz ensembles, focusing on improvisation. Today her repertoar mostly consists of warm cover songs and her own songs played on the grand piano at Lofoten folkehøgskole. The genres range from classical to indie and singer-songwriter, with vocals and piano.
Clara Gyökeres (SE):
Clara Gyökeres is an inventive DJ using music as her canvas. Exploring and flirting with several genres, coming back to the main focus house and disco, the intention is always the same: to make you feel great.
Born and bred in Stockholm City, Clara Gyökeres discovered music at an early stage. Starting out as a club coordinator, she realized that she could also be behind the decks. The curiosity led to forming an all-female disco DJ-collective and her side project rock’n’roll group VERO. Exploring and playing in new territories such as Norway and Japan on her musical journey, she is constantly experimenting with new possibilities and sounds.

Feiringen av skreisesongen finner sted på Trevarefabrikken for tredje gang, når vi nå tar endagsfestivalen Skreifest tilbake i 2022. Også denne gang faller festivalen på samme helg som VM i Skreifisket for å maksimere stemningen til det fulle! Det blir konserter, det blir klubb, det blir mat og drikke, og forhåpentligvis relativt frie tøyler. Velkommen til en helg for skreien, musikken, folket og Henningsvær!
