Sauna
As an integral part of life at Trevarefabrikken a session in our wooden ocean view sauna along with a swim in the arctic Vestfjord is rarely a bad idea.
Our ocean view sauna sits right on the edge of the Arctic sea, with views of the surrounding mountains. A moment to slow down, take in the landscape and enjoy the simple contrast between heat and cold. Warm up inside, then step straight into the salty sea or the fresh water shower located on the backside of the sauna.
We offer both public and private sauna experiences. See more details below.

Good to know
Please note that our sauna sits right next to the outdoor terrace, just a few steps from the sea. During our high summer season, the terrace is a lively spot - with people coming and going, grabbing a drink, or just soaking up the sun. It’s all part of the summer rhythm here – a bit more people, a bit more life. There is no direct view from the terrace to inside of the sauna, however we still cannot always promise a full feeling of privacy. Please be aware that there is no assigned swimming spot, and you swim at your own risk.
