Our backyard and seaside terrace, connecting us directly to the mountains, the Arctic waves, and the unique surrounding landscapes of Lofoten.

Steinbruddet is what we call our large seaside terrace that, with great pride, we dare to claim is the most beautiful viewpoint and lookout in Henningsvær—where the midnight sun glows over the village and the ocean together with the mountains provide the perfect backdrop for any gathering or celebration.

Steinbruddet, meaning “the stone quarry,” is a striking reminder of Henningsvær’s industrial past. Once used to extract stone for the village’s foundations, Steinbruddet serves now as a meeting point for both locals and visitors, and as a location for all kinds of community gatherings such as quiz nights and concerts.
