Soetkin Baptist interprets Jeff Buckley’s legendary album Grace in a new, personal musical landscape. The Belgium-born vocalist, who now lives in Valnesfjord, is known for her distinctive voice and her expression that moves between classical singing, jazz, and rhythmic music.Together with a handpicked band of musicians from Belgium and Norway, she re-explores Buckley’s iconic songs. Here, ’90s grunge, jazz, and influences from Renaissance music meet in powerful and atmospheric interpretations.
