Inge Bremnes "Mot Lys" –Julekonsert

We warmly welcome a familiar face back to the factory during the pre-Christmas season. None other than Inge Bremnes, of course! Come to Henningsvær and Trevarefabrikken for one of Lofoten's most heartfelt Christmas concerts this year.

The concert is arranged in collaboration with the organization "Mental Helse" — An organization dedicated to increasing openness, preventing mental health challenges, and providing better mental health support for everyone.

Christmas is about traditions, expectations, and glitter. But let’s be honest: it can also mean stress, chaos, and a little bit of disappointment. And in the midst of all this? Inge Bremnes and his band, hitting the road once again. If you're looking for angels in white robes, incense, and smiling elves — you've come to the wrong concert. But if you want a Christmas that’s just moderate, with warm songs, self-irony, and an artist who’s not afraid to admit that December can be a bit much — then Mot Lys – En middels jul 2025 is exactly what you need.

The Northern Norwegian singer songwriter Inge Bremnes had his break through in the mid-2010s with songs like Ikaros, Meire Vi, and Himmelblå, and since then he has performed everything from community halls in Northern Norway to the Rockefeller in Oslo. With lyrics that balance between subtle humor and brutal honesty, and a unique ability to connect with both P1 and P3 audiences, he has established himself as one of the country’s most distinctive songwriters. Raised in Kvæfjord but based in Oslo, he’s known for combining intimacy and humility with a modern pop style — always with a light-hearted tone. In 2023, he also performed the title song for NRK’s Christmas calendar, Snøfall 2.

With him on this Christmas tour is his loyal band, which for over ten years has been both musical companions and travel partners across the country. Together, they deliver a Christmas concert that doesn’t promise gold, incense, and myrrh — but something much better: an honest, warm, and musical evening that recognizes that Christmas isn’t always perfect… but usually quite nice anyway.

In addition to well-known Inge Bremnes songs spanning his entire catalog, there will be new and old Christmas songs in fresh arrangements, humorous anecdotes from the artist’s skewed perspective on life — and maybe a gentle reminder that hope is always there, even in the darkest days.
