FLAMMER DANCE BAND
Flammer Dance Band, a seven-piece ensemble hailing from Norway, specializes in the captivating world of psychedelic funk with a nod to the funky era of the 1970s. Flammer offers an unfiltered live experience, marked by unexpected moments, improvisation and an electric atmosphere. If you're seeking a night of hypnotic rhythms, and trippy grooves that will move your soul, don't miss the opportunity to boogie with this Norwegian outfit!
MELKEVEIEN
Melkeveien truly burst onto the scene in 2014 with the release of "Peter Pan Death Wish," a single that received rave reviews—including a place on The London Times’ "Essential Tracks" list. Since then, they’ve racked up millions of streams, with their music featured on various TV series and even used to promote Lynne Ramsay’s film "You Were Never Really Here," starring Joaquin Phoenix.
As a band, Melkeveien has prioritized high-energy live shows, a focus that has paid off — most recently as the opening act for Röyksopp on their Norwegian tour in 2023. Their latest stops in Norway were to promote the "Hockey Pizza EP" and "Thirst Issues" (Full Pupp). The latter was quickly picked up by UK’s Mixmag and earned a spot on their "Best New House" playlist.
Their new EP, "Heavy Harvest," is due out in Spring 2025.
STRANGEFRUIT
Pål "Strangefruit" Nyhus is one of the country's most important DJs. He is one half of the two-time Spellemann-nominated Mungolian Jetset and has played music on national broadcasters and underground clubs in Oslo since the early 90s. With many decades of experience and an alert musical sensibility and thirst that surpasses most, he has also toured in the past year with the successful revival of Nils Petter Molvær's Khmer. Strangefruit coming north to play in Henningsvær is another milestone in Trevarefabrikkens club history, make sure you're a part of it
